Dog-care w/all the comforts of home
***We do our best to limit boarding to two dog families at a time, ensuring all dogs receive the proper attention and care.*** I am a nurse practitioner with several years of dog handling experience with many different breeds. My partner, Michael, also has extensive experience with both dogs and cats and works from home. Together, we make a great team, ensuring that every pup in our care gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. We enjoy playing fetch and hiking with our dogs in the mountains. Not only is it great for human exercise, but it is also very important for a dog's mental health. We offer neighborhood walks around the lake, which is home to friendly ducks during the summer months. Our neighborhood connects to the Mountain to Seal trail and is available for our more active pets that enjoy long walks, available upon request. At home, we provide lots of doggy beds and Kong-filled treats after a nice walk or playtime in the yard. Our backyard is fully fenced-in with a large deck for sunbathing, a doggy pool for the hot summer months, and a large dog house for shade or lounging. Our front porch has soft patio chairs where we can enjoy a beautiful Asheville sunset. Group dog play is available upon request or based on dog preferences. Your dogs can play with our dogs, or we can accommodate to keep them separate. We understand some dogs prefer to be alone, and we have designated areas of our home for quiet pups as well as sociable pups. There is 2000 sq ft of indoor space available to the dogs, so plenty of space for all! We enjoy teaching our dogs new tricks; the basics such as sitting, lying down, and wait/stay are fairly easy to teach, and we can work on those with your pup as well! Yesmira and Michael were both great communicators and care givers for my 12 week old puppy. I appreciate that they took time to do a meet and great to make sure it was a good fit before the first day of dog sitting. Overall my dog seemed very comfortable at their home and enjoyed running around in their backyard with the other pups. I'm grateful that I have a trusted source for puppy care now!
Yesmira was great with my old guy, Auggie. He clearly felt at home and enjoyed playing with the other pups. Yesmira was great about sending pictures and videos.

Wonderful care by wonderful people! I could tell my pups had a great time and were well cared for. They even learned a few new skills. :D Yesmira provided updates with pics/videos and even checked on us and how we were enjoying our trip. So grateful, we were able to enjoy our extended trip out of the country knowing our babies were in good hands.
Yesmira and her husband agreed to keep our 5 mo old Pom on short notice, and on a saturday. We were very grateful as we were visiting Asheville NC with our son and DIL at places that were not dog friendly. She is still a puppy, has accidents especially in a new to her place. They sent pics and updates to let me she was doing well. They are great sitters and seemed to enjoy having her for the day. I highly recommend her for any dog sitting needs you have.

Safety, trust & environment
We prioritize creating a safe, trusting, and comfortable environment for all pets in our care. Our four friendly dogs (two seniors and two adults) are well-socialized and adaptable to pets of all sizes and breeds. The seniors enjoy a calm, restful space with plenty of cozy beds and freshly cleaned blankets, while the adult pups are affectionate, playful, and eager to make new friends. Our two cats are also accustomed to being around dogs, maintaining their own space while contributing to a balanced and peaceful home. Every pet is welcomed with care and attention, ensuring they feel secure and at ease during their stay.
