Your Fur Baby’s Second Best Friend
Pet care experience
Hello! Thank you for considering me! I am a lifelong animal lover and have over 25 years experience caring for animals. I have the skills, knowledge, patience and love to handle a diverse range of animals with ease. I currently volunteer at a horse rescue where I contribute to the care of our equine friends. Working from home full-time offers me a flexible schedule that enables me to provide the TLC your fur baby deserves. I have a fenced-in yard an a 10-year old pug named Penny Lane who gets along well with other animals. I love all God’s creatures and will provide the TLC and attention your fur babies need while you are away. I care for my client’s pets as if they were my own and carefully consider all specifications of care provided by my clients. My goal is to keep the babies happy and make sure clients have the utmost peace of mind while away from their pets. I send pics, video and texts to provide that extra peace of mind. I understand that pets are family, and it is of the utmost importance to find a trusted person to care for them. This is why I request meet and greets for all new clients: to make sure I have earned your trust and you feel comfortable. I have an extra crate I can used for boarding clients that are crate trained. Please note that I require all clients to be potty trained, dog friendly, and up-to-date on vaccinations to ensure everyone's well being.
Reviews
I highly recommend Wendy. She is a very caring and kind person with all creatures - human and four-legged! In addition, she is highly responsible and committed to being an excellent and safe dog owner and dog sitter. She lives near a lovely park and takes the dogs there for regular walks. Wendy's small dog is very friendly and gets along really well with other dogs. I love working with Wendy!
Wendy has been our go-to pet sitter for our family for 8 years now. She provides superlative care for our two fur babies, Rocky and Rosie. Whether planning our week for a dog walk schedule or planning overnights during vacations, retaining Wendy’s services has become part of our routine. She treats our babies like family, and she has become a part of ours. We highly recommend Wendy for anyone seeking the best care for their fur babies. Thank you, Wendy!

I have a small, fenced-in yard for boarding and day care clients. When I house sit, I will only be able to sit for clients who are okay with my dog, 10-year old Penny Lane, joining me. Therefore, I always ask for meet-and-greets for housesitting, boarding, and day care clients, so we can ensure your pet is comfortable and will get along with Penny. Meet-and-greets for other services are important as well.

Information Wendy B. would like to know about your pet
Do they play well with others? Are they food-aggressive? Are there any quirky behaviors I should be aware of? Up-to-date on vaccinations and any health issues I need to know about? Medications and dosage and administration instructions.
A typical day
We will go on plenty of walks and play with the multitude of toys in our “toy box.” I offer plenty of snuggles and am happy to reward guests with treats (only if approved by client....as some guests are on a special diet). I will take guests out approximately every 3-4 hours during the day and make sure we go on walks each day dependent upon animals age and health and owner preferences.
