Information Wendy B. would like to know about your pet

Just any information that you have that I need to know- any breed is OK by me! I send lots of photos and I’m not shy about asking any questions I have that may come up.

A typical day

I typically walk three times a day, unless instructed by the owners not to do too much. I have no qualms with getting on the floor and playing with my doggy friends!

I LOVE Animals and they LOVE me!!!

Pet care experience

I worked as a veterinarian’s assistant for two years when I was a teenager. My whole life has been animal centric. After retiring from the Airlines, and since my daughter lives in Seattle and I am missing my grand doggy (Terrier Mix-JoJo) I need surrogates!!! I have donated my time to walk dogs at my local animal pound and I view animals just as important as people with feelings, emotions, and sensitivity. I understand that animals get stressed if left alone without their owner. I am eager to first bond with them in a calm manner, getting to know each other before we go paint the town red. Just like when I did daycare with children at my home, your furry friend/'child,' may not care when you come home- sorry/not sorry!? I have a few clients that are not from Rover, and many repeat clients.

My first experience using Rover and I really lucked out with Wendy. She was communicative and kept my mind at ease while we were gone for 6 nights and 7 days. She’s not kidding when she says your dogs won’t care when you come home. One of mine is a crazy English bulldog that loses her mind and acts like she hasn’t seen us for days, even if we are gone for 15 minutes. She could care less that we were back. This tells me she was well loved and got plenty of play time. 100% recommend Wendy!

Wendy is absolutely wonderful! We have several pets and some have complicated care instructions. She did a great job with meds and making sure everyone was taken care of!

Wendy was fantastic! She was available within a few days’ notice to stay at our house and watch our dog while we were out of the country for 5 nights. She sent daily updates and kept us well-informed. We felt so much better knowing our dog was in the comfort of his own home instead of a kennel. We will certainly use her again!
