Lifelong animal lover ready to pet your pooch! 🐾
Pet care experience
As a lifelong animal lover, I have owned small furry creatures since I was a toddler and was always encouraged to be very proactive and responsible in their care. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter and have cared for dogs and horses at a stable that I rode at when I was younger. My animals are valued members of my family, so I understand that yours will be too. For the time I am caring for them, I will treat them as my own, giving them plenty of cuddles, treats (as and when allowed, as directed by you), and plenty of time in the fresh air. I spend at least an hour every day outside with my own dog, rain or shine (or snow!) and have some beautiful walks and green spaces nearby. I also have plenty of toys and puzzles indoors to keep them occupied, and my own dog loves a playmate so I’m certain he will keep your furry friend busy too! Photos will always be provided throughout the day, and details of care will always be discussed with you beforehand, including dietary needs, toy or stimulation preferences, medication if necessary and lead/recall abilities. I have a large fenced garden for sniffs and toilet breaks and our home is in a secure area on a quiet road. A crate, blankets and so on can be provided and I’m happy to work with you on any training you have been trying to implement too.
Reviews

Vivian took great care of our poodle Gwen. She very kindly took on the job last minute and provided us with updates throughout the day. When we had some difficulties with traffic getting back to pick her up, Vivian was extremely understanding. Our dog came back happy, excercised and socialised. Would definitely recommend and use again!
I would recommend Vivian in a heartbeat. She is lovely, kind & took amazing care of my Labradoodle. Made her feel loved, spoiled and took her on a long park walk. She communicated well with us, keeping us up to date with pictures of their adventures. I would not hesitate to rebook with Vivian, she genuinely cares for dogs and she was so lovely with mine - patient, calm and welcoming. A home away from home. Thank you Vivian!

I have a fenced back garden and we also live on a quiet side road to give your pet security (and you peace of mind). My own doggo loves making friends and loves to have playmates to join him on walks. He is neutered and a small/medium (12kg) rescue and very good natured.l We also have a spare doggy bed suitable for small or medium dogs, and a spare crate for bed times, naps or just for a moment’s peace for your pup. We can accommodate different dietary or medical requirements - just let me know what you need!

Information Vivian L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special dietary needs/medical requirements or behaviours I should account for or be aware of e.g. separation anxiety, poor recall, fears/phobias etc. The more informed I am, the more I can provide for your pooch on an individual basis and give them the care and love they deserve!
A typical day
My priority is giving your pooch the love and stimulation he or she needs. After breakfast, I tend to take my own dog for a local walk to stretch his legs and get out in the fresh air. At home, I tend to keep him occupied with some simple games and toys, and then in the afternoon I generally take him on a longer walk where he can really burn off some energy through playing, sniffing, running and roaming. Sometimes I mix it up by doing some lead work with him in busier spaces to ensure that he stays well socialised and responsive on the lead (but I prefer being out in the countryside so usually this wins!) After walkies, we’ll come home for a ‘good boy’ treat and a little groom and some dinner. In the evening we tend to snuggle up on the sofa - which I’m more than happy for your pooch to join in with too!

I’m currently based at home every day. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your furry friend, and lots of opportunity to let them enjoy plenty of walks, cuddles and treats (if and when suitable).
