I speak dog big and small

Pet care experience

I've been pet sitting for over three years in my home and have references. Previously worked for a vet. Dogs get lots of love, are treated like family, share my kingsized bed and even get golf cart rides around the neighborhood. Your pets must be leash trained, housebroken, non-destructive and have no fleas, up-to-date on shots and not be in heat. I raised great danes for 30 years. I rescued for over 15 years and growing up my mom raised poodles for show and, my dad raised Brittany Spaniels for field and show. We always had no less than 30-40 dogs at all times. With that many dogs, there were always the few that didn't play well with others and had to be separated. I'm used to and love all dogs. I prefer older dogs with good manners, obey basic obedience commands (we will work on that if not previously trained). Your pets will be my guests of honor and treated with love, respect and dignity.

Virginia is the best. She's easy going which is really good for my dog. He's an easy keeper usually. He loves seeing her and so do I. She is a great lady.

Virginia is kind, well experienced in pet care and Hawkeye was so comfortable with her from the moment he met her. He is terrified of thunder storms and she managed him perfectly through his fear. He had a wonderful time with her and he will be back visiting her soon! We are so lucky to have found someone with her caring and Dog skill level. He even got to go to a farmer's market with her. He has always loved going to watch and sniff. Thank you for your great care of my old boy!

When Virginia takes care of my 5 cats and two dogs I have full confidence they are in caring hands and all will be well while I’m gone. She has watched them several times and I will continue having her care for them. She has a big heart and will give your critters lots of love while you’re away too!

They are treated as royal guests with lots of love and care. We go for leashed walks around the yard and, if well behaved, golf cart rides around the community. They sleep with me at night and are treated as if they were my own. I do not believe in reactive treatment toward any animal. Your pets will be given freeze dried liver treats unless you provide otherwise. Your pets are my number one priority. I speak dog!

dogs under my care go for potty breaks 4-6 times daily, plus ride in my golf cart or, run beside me to the dog park where we play ball, fetch or other activities. I will not take dog(s) into fenced dog park if other dogs are present. We have 3 dog parks onsite and if someone approaches me to come inside, we ask for 5 minutes to leash up the dog(s) and we leave. We also have play-time inside the RV and dogs receive lots of loving care.
