Your Stay at Home Dog Mom

Hello and welcome! My name is Virginia , and I’m a fully insured dog walker/sitter who enjoys every moment of delivering pups and their owners what they deserve the most: top-quality care and lasting companionship. As someone who both grew up with and owned dogs since age 7 (I had a Collie, a Rottweiler and 2 Pitbulls), I bring extensive background in pet care spanning from walks, home boarding to offering personalized care to all breeds, behaviors, and ages-including seniors and disabled. This is coupled with 5+ years of professional pet service experience and passing the cat and dog first aid class by the American Red Cross. Overall, I love not only delivering dogs and cats amazing experience, but doing so all while giving their owners the confidence that they are entrusting someone who truly values their pups just as much as you do.

Virginia was a very professional and reliable rover. She helped schedule a meet and greet for our dog to make sure it was a good fit and we were comfortable before our trip. You can tell she has lots of experience being around animals and was excellent around our dog who does not like strangers that much. She gave updates throughout our trip, sent lots of pictures, and was timely on responses through the app. She was very flexible with our changing travel plans, which we really appreciated. 5/5 stars! Would book again!

Only person I trust with my little Mowgli outside of family. He loves Virginia and is so comfortable with her.

Thank you for taking care of Daisy, even in the middle of health issues! It helps to have someone who is trustworthy watching her while we are gone.

Schedule

Being both self employed and working from home means that I have high flexibility to accommodate pet care needs that best suits your schedule. This includes Monday through Sunday care, as well as just about all holiday care, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. That said, being home ensures that pups will never be left alone, and will get to go on daily outdoor walks, runs, and general outside play without having any time restrictions. In short, I firmly believe in one-on-one attention and physical activity. Dogs NEED reoccurring activity that accommodates their level and paces. This is why outside adventures are core pillars of mine-all to ensure your pet is mentally, physically, and emotionally fulfilled at the end of each day.

Safety, trust & environment

As for environment, my apartment is exceptionally dog friendly. This includes a huge patio, functioning cameras, 1000 sq ft indoor space, a large fenced-in-residential dog park, and the full freedom to make this space a place of comfort while you are away. Your pet will be treated with the same dignity and love as if they were my own. From physical to emotional wellness, nothing makes me happier than ensuring dogs the most positive, fun, and personalized support they deserve. This also means placing safety first, accommodating allergies or disabilities, and of course, continuously updating owners on your pets status. All in all, I’m a flexible, compassionate, and reliable professional who takes great pleasure in working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behaviors. And with the traditional saying being that it takes a village, know that I’d be honored to become a part of yours.

Pets

A typical day

I love going outdoors with all the dogs I care for. Especially with high energy breeds. I usually take all dogs to at least 3 one mile walks/runs daily. Depending on the weather. I go on hikes nearby daily so they’ll also be out enjoying nature too. My place also has a private, secured gated dog park that I take pets to run and play safely to burn off that energy too. So your pets will come home happy and tired.
