Your pet’s home away from home
Pet care experience
My partner, Sam, and I love being rover sitters; booking with the two of us = double the love, care, and attention for your pet! We love animals with our whole heart, and cherish pets as though they were our own. We’ve have taken care of all different kinds of dogs and cats, all ages. I work from home and love taking my pup on walks around the neighborhood and to the park to play. My partner is a teacher and especially during the summer and on weekends your fur child will have double the attention and care. We’re happy to send as many photos and videos as you need to feel comfortable while you’re away. Our home is cozy and warm, has many great sunspots, and areas for them to snuggle with us if they want, and also rooms for them to relax if they want space or time alone. There is a small front fenced yard for sniffs and bathroom breaks, but most of the activity when with us will be walks, park trips, and playing with toys inside. I am a (human) NP, am very calming and attentive. I have experience giving medications and managing separation anxiety/ generalized anxiety in dogs

Reviews

Virginia and her husband and their pup are so wonderful. My high energy border collie had such a great day with them for daycare! She got to go on a walk and go to the park and by the time she got home, she was exhausted. Would definitely recommend them!

Virginia and her husband Sam are so great. They were responsive and easy to communicate with. When I had issues with flight delays they were so flexible and understanding. They sent great pictures of my dog all weekend and made sure that she got her high energy out! She’s not an easy dog to take care of given her high energy high anxiety herding breed mentality but they seemed to work magic because she was exhausted coming home! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Virginia was awesome! Very communicative and friendly :)

Virginia is wonderful! She communicates well and more importantly takes great of my pup. Highly recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
Because our own dog has a history of general anxiety, which she has grown out of for the most part, we have experience in recognizing dog body language, and the time in which they need attention, and the times in which they need space. The goal is to keep your pet as comfortable and happy as they can possibly be until you come back to them. We’ll work to keep their routine similar to your own so the transition is seamless for them.

Information Virginia D. would like to know about your pet
The more information you can share about your fur child, the better! It’s helpful to know their energy level, things they like or things to avoid. Things like resource guarding, comfort with other dogs and cats, reactivity, behaviors when stressed or anxious, quirks, and of course any health issues or needs for medication. This all helps me make their time away from you more seamless until they can be back with their fav people.
A typical day
We typically take take a morning walk to check out the newest and coolest smells in the neighborhood. In the afternoon we like to go to the park and run around off leash and ask other dogs what they’ve been smelling recently, maybe chase a ball or two, who’s to say? We like to do scent work at home, so playing games where treats are hidden and challenging them to find them, my pup lives for it. We incorporate endless snuggles and conversations surrounding what a good girl/boy she is, and ensure naps are plentiful.
