Pet care experience
Pets Are Family 🐾
I’ve always been surrounded by animals, and caring for them has been an important part of my life. I got my first German Shepherd when I was just three years old, and we grew up together. Since then, I have never lived without a dog and have gained experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds and personalities. I rescued my own dog, Mishka, who is now 11 years old and means the world to me. I have also cared for stray dogs in Bosnia, making sure they had food, attention and any help they needed. In addition to dogs, I have experience with cats, guinea pigs and rabbits, so I feel comfortable caring for a variety of pets. I have also done extensive pet sitting in Basel through Petsitting24, where I have my own profile and reviews. I have walked and cared for dogs, visited cats, and looked after rabbits by feeding them, cleaning their spaces and making sure they were comfortable, happy and well cared for. For me, pet sitting is about much more than feeding and walking. I want every animal to feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owner is away, and I always do my best to provide attentive, reliable and compassionate care.

Ratings and reviews
Viktoria has always been incredible with animals. Over the years she’s had several dogs, including two German Shepherds, a cat, and she currently has a Pekingese. She even rescued two dogs while she was in Bosnia and got them both adopted into good homes. She’s patient, responsible, and genuinely loves them like family. I trust her completely and know any pet in her care would be safe, well-loved, and given the kind of attention every owner wants.

Schedule
I’m currently not working, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate my full time and attention to the pets in my care. I can adapt to their usual routines, including walks, feeding, playtime and rest, and I’m able to give them plenty of company throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have an 11-year-old dog, Mishka, who is friendly but can be selective about which dogs she feels comfortable with. Because she is older, her comfort and wellbeing are very important to me, and I don’t want to put her under unnecessary stress. For this reason, before confirming an overnight stay at my home, I require a pre-visit and introduction with Mishka and the dog. This allows us to see how they get along in a calm, controlled environment and make sure everyone is comfortable before the stay is booked. I believe this is important for both dogs and gives the owner peace of mind that their pet will be staying in a safe and suitable environment.
