Pet first aid-certified! I have over six years of experience taking care of dogs and puppies, being my friends' and neighbours' go-to dog sitter and walker for the last few years. I have a warm and nurturing energy that dogs naturally gravitate to. Dogs tend to love playing with me as I bring an abundance of energy. I also have experience socializing dogs from early puppy-hood, and can reinforce your training methods. Your dog's safety and happiness are the top priority to me. Please let me know about your dog’s/cat’s temperament, allergies, medications, special care needs and dietary-sensory restrictions in advance. A lot of my house-sitting clients will prepare a care instruction sheet that they share with me before I come over.
A typical day
For dogs - Atleast two walks per day if not more. And walks include play time in the dog park (lots of running), leashed exploratory walks, potty-pee time, command training and weather and preference-permitting, a cooling dip on hot, sunny days. While indoors, I love brushing and grooming, and doing light tricks with treats. Monitored nap times, crate training and bathing if needed. For cats - lots of petting (depending on preference), brushing/grooming, training with treats, active and passive play time, cleaning litter and establishing routine for kittens.

I work as an artist and educator, and have a fairly flexible schedule. I can work any day of the week, including evenings and weekends.
