Hi there!! I’m Victoria, an experienced dog trainer who’s been working in the pet industry all across the country for over a decade. I’m currently traveling with my pups and excited to work with new clients in the cities I’m exploring. I’m open to housesitting dog friendly dogs and exotics, as well as hobby farms. I have extensive experience training, puppy raising, and caring for all pet species. I’ll also be available for walks and drop ins, and LOVE to take clients out for hikes and enrichment activities. I’ve spent the last several years living in the Rockies and the Appalachians and am no stranger to a hike in the forest with several dogs in tow. I specialize in reactivity and prefer to work with clients with more specialized care and behavioral needs, including young puppies, and feral cats. Looking forward to working with you, in whatever corner of the world we may meet!

Victoria is wonderful!! Having to leave our dogs at home is always difficult, but knowing Victoria was taking good care of our pups and giving them lots of snuggles was comforting. She even checked with me about halfway through our trip to see if she needed to pick up more meds for our one dog. She had noticed there were enough meds for while we were gone, but checked to see if we had another bottle or if we needed her to pick one up before we returned. That really impressed me! She also brought various puzzle toys of her own to keep our pups engaged and entertained. We will definitely book Victoria again in the future!

Victoria took amazing care of my two large lab mix dogs (who rarely are cared for by anyone but me,) and she made the whole process so easy it was like an angel popped by and fed them & let them out to play (while I was completely out of pocket at a family wedding & our other sitter had cancelled). I was able to book last minute by meeting Victoria and giving her care instructions by video chat through the app. She put me right at ease-seemless process, very professional.

Walks take place in your neighborhood, and drop ins at your home, unless otherwise arranged. Safety is crucial to me, especially because I typically work with reactive dogs. I will not meet strangers or strange dogs on walks even if your dog is friendly or enjoys this. I will not take your dog to a dog park, or allow it to be off leash, even if these are part of your usual routine.

As my preference is to work with reactive clients, a brief history of their behavioral issues, triggers, and current and previous management approaches (if applicable) are always helpful. I am open to working with all dog breeds and sizes, and I am happy to walk several dogs at once.
A typical day
I regularly rely on my years of dog training knowledge to come up with enrichment toys and games for your pet. I’m a firm believer in not only tiring a dog out physically, but also wearing out their brain, be that through a trick training session, incorporating impulse control training and sniffing into our walk, or utilizing my enrichment tools. I love taking house sitting clients for adventures, a hiking trail, a coffee shop hang, even browsing the local plant store.

Pet care is my full time job, and right now my schedule is extremely flexible and I am currently able to accommodate constant care requests. I will, as always, be prioritizing the needs of all pets in my care.
