I offer small-group, in-home boarding, designed for pet parents who want something more personal than a traditional boarding facility. I intentionally keep the number of guest dogs small and manageable. While I do welcome pets from multiple families, I don't believe in packing a large number of dogs into one space. My goal is for every dog to receive individual attention, supervision, affection, and care rather than simply being one of many. Our home is spacious and set up to give dogs room to relax. We have two living rooms, a large unused basement area, and a fully privacy-fenced yard. Someone is almost always home, so your dog isn't spending the majority of the day alone. I have two senior dogs of my own, and I'm very intentional about maintaining a calm, safe environment for everyone's comfort. Because this is our family home, I do have a few house rules. Dogs are not allowed on our beds or couches, and I use baby gates or separation when necessary for safety, feeding, introductions, or simply giving a dog some downtime. My $35/night rate is intentionally priced below many local boarding and daycare facilities, while still providing the advantages of a home environment: a smaller group, more individualized attention, a spacious home, a private fenced yard, and someone nearby most of the time.
