Stress-Free Care in Your Home
Pet care experience
I’m no stranger to chaos, patience, or a good tug-of-war. My family has four terriers, three of which are under two years old! I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including the more unruly ones. I bring calm, consistency, and a real love for dogs into every home I visit. I’m currently training in Canine Behaviour with the goal of becoming a dog behaviourist. I believe no dog is untrainable - every dog has their own unique personality, and understanding that is key to providing the best care. As part of my training, I offer dog training walks focusing on recall, loose lead walking, and managing reactivity, so your dog gets exercise and behaviour support during our time together. This service is available for an additional £5 per walk while I complete my training.

Reviews
My daughter has been helping care for our four dogs and one cat for years, and I can confidently say she’s a natural with animals. She’s calm, responsible, and genuinely loves spending time with them, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company. Our pets adore her, and she’s always been incredibly reliable. I’d trust her completely with any pet, and I know she’ll treat yours with the same care and attention she gives ours.

Safety, trust & environment
When I care for pets in their own home, I prioritise routine, comfort, and trust - both for the animal and the owner. I take time to understand each pet’s individual needs, from feeding and walks to playtime and any quirks they might have. I keep a calm and respectful presence in the home, making sure everything stays clean, safe, and familiar. For overnight stays, I treat the home with the same care I would my own and provide regular updates so you feel fully reassured while you're away. My goal is always to create a stress-free experience where your pet feels secure and happy in their own environment.
Information Victoria A. would like to know about your pet
It’s really helpful to know things like their daily routine, any medical needs or medications, how they are on walks, and what they’re like with other animals or people. I also like to know any quirks, fears, or house rules (like if they’re allowed on the sofa!). The more I know up front, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the pet’s needs, but my priority is always keeping them happy, safe, and well-stimulated. For dogs, I love getting out into nature - I’m a member of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, which gives me access to lots of beautiful, pet-friendly reserves perfect for long, enriching walks away from busy roads. Whether it's a game of fetch, gentle play for older dogs, or focused enrichment activities for higher-energy pups, I always adjust to suit the individual dog’s age, personality, and energy level. For cats and small animals, I make sure they get attention, comfort, and company - whether that’s a quiet cuddle, interactive play, or just sitting nearby while they do their thing. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel connected while they’re away.

My current work schedule allows for a lot of WFH. I'm moving over to freelancing in September so my schedule will be more flexible than ever.
