When caring for pets, I always follow the owner’s routines, instructions, and preferences to make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable. For dog walks, I tailor each walk to the dog’s age, energy level, and temperament, making sure they get appropriate exercise while staying safe at all times. I’m attentive to their behaviour, use secure leads, and avoid situations that may cause stress. For drop-in visits and cat care, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter trays where required, and spend quality time with them for reassurance and companionship. I also carry out basic welfare checks during every visit. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos so owners have peace of mind while they’re away.
