Shelter Experience Meets Pet Love!
I am currently a student at Cal Poly SLO studying microbiology, which has taught me so much about animals and common problems they deal with! I have studied and am quite familiar with common parasites and diseases such as fleas, tapeworm, giardia, calicivirus, panleukopenia, etc. I am also currently a staff member at the Cal Poly Cat Program as a Volunteer Coordinator, and thus have extensive experience with basic animal care as well as medical care for animals. I also have experience managing care for multiple animals at a time in the shelter environment and continue to do so virtually. I absolutely adore animals and want to provide the best care I can for your pet, regardless of their past or circumstances!

For dogs I absolutely adore taking them to the local parks here in San Luis Obsipo to get them all the outside time they need, while for cats I enjoy spending time with them in the place they’re most comfortable in, giving them a churu treat! For both cats and dogs I promise to send you lots of pictures and updates of your pet during the time I spend with them!

Veronika is one of the most compassionate and loving people when it comes to animals. She volunteers at her university cat shelter and has two cats of her own, both of which she loves and takes care of so diligently and eagerly. Animals are her whole life and you can really tell by the way she regards even the sickest cats that come to the shelter. She loves her own cats, of course, but the love doesn't stop there. The cats at the shelter really become her own from the moment they enter the shelter to the reassurance they are in safe hands. Of course, she loves dogs, too. She loves all three of my dogs with her whole heart, and while she doesn't need to care for them, she's always excited to see them. Trust that your pet will be in nurturing and gentle hands when choosing Veronika to walk, feed, or petsit your furry friend.

Zeitplan
I’m currently a student at Cal Poly who is taking the quarter off to take some time to myself! I still have a few weeks until the next quarter starts and have a very flexible schedule to help care for you and your pets!
