I’ve always had a pet in my family, ever since I was young. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I’m the proud mom of two cats right now (Scully and Bug). I work from home as a writer, so I’m able to offer in-house care for your beloved pets. I don’t have calls, so I can easily walk away from work for any time-sensitive care that your cat or dog needs. I'd love to help your pet be a little less lonely while you're away 🥰 I have experience with senior cats and reactive dogs.

This was our first time leaving our dog at home with a sitter instead of boarding. It went great and Verna did a great job! Honey was happier and we could enjoy our vacation knowing she was being well taken care of. Verna communicated with us each day and let us know Honey was doing great and eating. We would definitely love to use Verna again in the future!

Schedule
I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. Saturdays are usually the best time for all-day care, but I’m open to pet care during the week as well. I’d prefer to board in your personal home.

I will take care of your pet exactly the way you want me to! I know that each cat or dog has its own specific needs and wants. I’ll feed your pet, cuddle, or just be there to calm separation anxiety. Don’t be afraid to tell me your exact preferences, I’m picky about caring for my own cats, so I understand!

A typical day
Since I’ll be taking care of your pet in your home, I’m happy to follow your routine! I’ll take your dogs on walks multiple times a day, giving them time to go on sniffaries! With cats, I’ll use wands and any other toys you have to make sure they’re having fun.
