Loving Care for Your Pets in Shalford With years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, I offer reliable dog walking, sitting, and drop-in services tailored to your pet’s needs. I share my cosy Shalford cottage with my beloved cocker spaniel—who adores other dogs (and his ball!)—and our friendly cat, who keeps a watchful eye on all the fun. Whether your dog enjoys group walks or prefers solo strolls, I can accommodate. I also offer home boarding while you’re away—your pup will be cared for like family. Working from home full time means I’m always around to give your pet plenty of love, attention, and cuddles.

At short notice, Vanessa looked after my new rescue cat for a long day. He adored her and I got updates during the day, showing him content and being cuddled. Given I was a “worried new mum” I had complete peace of mind with Vanessa caring for him. I would thoroughly recommend.

My first time using Rover and I was delighted with the whole experience. Vanessa was super welcoming when I dropped my dog off, sent me a reassuring pic during the day so I could see he was settled and relaxed. She made everything so easy - from communication ahead of the day, and in clearly wanting my dog to have a good day. How I Care for Pets – At My Home or Yours Whether your pet stays in my cosy Shalford cottage or I’m visiting them in your home, I provide the same high standard of care, love, and attention. In my home, your dog will enjoy a secure garden for safe outdoor play, plenty of cuddles, and a relaxed, homely atmosphere. I work from home full time, so your dog will never be left alone for long and will be part of the family during their stay. Walks, playtime, and rest are all tailored to suit your dog’s routine and personality. In your home, I offer drop-in visits or sitting to keep your pet comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I’ll stick to their normal schedule—feeding, walks, play, and any special care they need—ensuring they feel safe and happy while you’re away. My flexible, pet-first approach means I adapt to each animal’s needs, and I’ll treat your pet like one of my own—with patience, affection, and reliable care.
