I’m a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to Suki, a young Labrador, German Shepherd, and Belgian Malinois mix. Raising Suki has been one of the most humbling, rewarding, and educational, experiences of my life. Because Suki is intelligent, energetic, and still developing her self-control, I’ve learned firsthand how important patience, structure, enrichment, exercise, and rest are for a dog’s well-being. Our journey has taught me how to pay attention to canine body language, redirect overexcitement calmly, support crate and settling routines, and provide appropriate outlets through sniff walks, play, training games, chews, and other enrichment. I understand that every dog has a different personality and comfort level. Some want immediate affection and play, while others need time and space before they feel safe with someone new. I won’t force interaction or expect your dog to adjust instantly. I’ll follow their normal routine, respect their boundaries, and care for them as an individual. I work from home and am naturally very attentive and detail-oriented. I also use Rover when arranging care for Suki, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. Clear communication, dependable care, and regular photo updates are very important to me. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, shy and slow to warm up, or happiest relaxing with some company, my goal is to help them feel safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away.
