Pet care experience
My whole life I have been caring for dogs. They truly make life worth living! My entire life revolves around whether or not my dog can come with me. I make time everyday to take her on a walk in nature. I am diligent about training and good manners and making sure she is socialized with people and animals everyday.

Our pups had a great time, they were happy to see us return but still wanted to play! Vanessa is happy and upbeat, was ready at drop off and kept in touch throughout the day. Will definitely bring them again. Highly recommended!
I was in Ashland to see a play and needed special care for my 15-yr-old Aussie who has separation anxiety, can be wary of strangers, and can be unpredictable around other dogs. Vanessa Jo was a perfect fit and won him over in no time! She thought through his needs and assessed his comfort level with her sweet puppy Arrow and 1 other young dog. Vanessa Jo was quick to respond, clear and professional in her communications, and demonstrated her many years of experience providing loving care for canines. She sent a text with photos to put my mind at ease while my dog was in her care. Her large, fenced backyard was a plus. Highly recommended dog mom!
Vanessa watched our active young lab mix dog, Kodi, for 3 nights in her home. Vanessa took such good care of Kodi! She took him on hikes and swims in the creek, which he absolutely loves. Kodi had a blast playing with her young dog, Arrow, true buddies. Vanessa was great at staying in touch with text messages and photos. I’d highly recommend Vanessa for pet sitting especially for active playful pups, and would use her services again when needed.
Vanessa is amazing and took such great care of my baby dog. Highly recommend.

I can be harsh and strict if that's what they need but also very gentle and understanding. I have good follow through with instruction and know what it takes to establish good habits.

Availability
I work Mon-Thursday 8:00am-10:30am from home and at my private art in Ashland. My dog comes with me everywhere (unless it's too hot). We go for a hike or to the lake everyday! Lots of potty breaks and outside time between hanging out in the studio or at home. I have a large fenced in yard where the dogs have free range.
