I currently am pursuing new job opportunities so am available 7 days a week with only a few 4-6 hour blocks that I may need to be away. However my fiance works remotely in our home so when I am away he will be here should I be caring for your pet in our home.

My fiance and I are currently in a two story, cozy house with a fully fenced half acre yard. We have the sweetest staffordshire terrier that loves everyone and everything and loves to make new friends (four legged or two). Also, while there are dogs in the neighborhood that sometimes bark and the train runs nearby, the house is in a quiet subdivision on the outskirts of Belgrade which is lovely for animals that may be stressed by a lot of loud noise. I do ask for an outline for food and med times/amounts to make sure I am keeping with a schedule If babysitting in your home, I will be on my own and will abide by any and all requests for keeping your pet comfortable and honoring your rules for maintaining your house in a manner that you will feel like you had never left.

The most important thing I would ask for is please ensure your pet is fully vaccinated and let me know if they have recently undergone any procedure or illness that may affect energy levels or appetite so I can monitor and adjust care accordingly. Please also let me know if there is any specific schedule for potty breaks, meds, play, etc. It is also helpful to know if your pet is food, play, attention oriented. Any exercise needs and any training (tricks, leash manners, commands) that is being worked on. Any triggers for anxiety or aggression that should be avoided or bad habits to be aware of. Any and all of these topics I will happily address in a meet and greet as well to ensure your pets happiness and safety and your peace of mind.

We take doggie walks at least once a day (weather permitting) and also play in the backyard to really let any animal in our care stretch their legs as much as their current health allows. If you are comfortable with your pet riding in my SUV we can go for a nice walk in nearby areas OR even take a hike. If the weather is yucky there are plenty of toys in the house to play with. I am also learning how to train to “smell games” to further mentally stimulate dogs that need extra focus.

I have had animals in my life since I was born: cats, dogs, horses and even a house pig, so I have a wide range of experiences. Currently, I have 16 unbroken years of having anywhere between 1-4 dogs living with me. Each animal is unique and they have ranged from high energy to low, special diets, aggression issues, anxiety issues, and specific medication requirements. In every circumstance where the fur baby was not my own, their parents were always more than happy with the pictures/updates I would send while they were away and the care their animals received. Animals are a passion for me and I look forward to watching over yours!

Vanessa and her boyfriend are wonderful dog sitters. They both are extremely knowledgeable and experienced with dogs. I appreciated the care they took to ask lots of questions and get to know my dog at a meet and greet before his stay. Vanessa was great with consistent updates and photos through the week.
Vanessa and Seth take such great care of our pups! We were in Japan for 10 days and knew we didn’t have to worry for a second!
Vanessa took such great care of our poodle pair! It’s clear that she and Seth just adore animals and want to make sure that the experience is a happy one for all the pets (and their parents). We appreciated the pictures and updates throughout the stay and will definitely book again in the future!
Vanessa was great and easy to work with and toon excellent care of our pups. She even made adjustments for our senior dog who had some issues. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave our dogs with Vanessa again. Thanks!
