About Valerie C.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I understand how stressful it can be having someone else care for your pup when you can’t be there! We can communicate as much as you’d like so we both feel confident about me doing the service. I'll always go above and beyond for your pet and I can be as communicative as you’d like during the service.
Information Valerie C. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me anything you’d like me to know about your pet! For a walk it’s very important that I know any triggers your dog has and especially how they behave around other dogs or people. Let me know if there are any treats you’d like me to give your dog, if I should check their water bowl when we get back in, or if their harness is a little tricky. I know it can be scary to leave your pet with a stranger so please communicate any concerns or just things you’d like me to keep in mind :)
A typical day
I know all dogs have their own unique needs and habits so every booking will look different. Please tell me how to make it the best experience for your pet! Some dogs might want to really explore and see the sights on a walk while others might like a more set route or need to avoid certain sights, sounds, or triggers. Similarly with drop-ins, I’m there to give your pet whatever type of care they need whether that’s playing fetch or cuddling on the couch.

Pet care experience
Hi I'm Val and I can't wait to meet your best friend! I’ve loved and owned dogs my entire life, and have had all different breeds from a bernese mountain dog, to chihuahua, to a Rottweiler, and I have a pit bull now. I have a lot of experience with reactive dogs, as well as dogs with special needs.
