One-on-one TLC for your pooch 😊
My first dog came to live with us on my 7th birthday. What a gift! She lived to be 19 years old, a grand old age even for a Terrier Mix. One of her two pups stayed with us too, and lived a happy life. After moving away for university and work, time constraints meant that having my own dog was impossible. When I left the corporate world in my mid thirties, one of the first things I did was find a new furry friend! Hubba was a rescue, came to us aged 3, with rather a lot of baggage. It took a lot of patience to form a deep and lasting bond. When Hubba died four years ago after nearly 12 years with us, that really took the stuffing out of me. I am not yet ready to even consider another dog of my own, but feel that offering my love and experience of Terrific Terriers would be a good step for me, and give me some of the canine love I so miss. Should this be of interest, I also have experience taking care of chickens, horses, dairy goats and larger farm dogs (Australian Shepherds, Great Pyrenees). I wouldn't be able to board those due to lack of space but this experience could be useful as part of a house/farm sit. Please message me to discuss this.

All great as usual. It's always reassuring to know I'm leaving Zac somewhere he's so happy and well looked after. And he seems to love the walks on the beach.
Zac was very happy to see Val again and in no rush to come home when I collected him. All great. Thank you.
Val was brilliant with Ziggy who is quite high attention and can be demanding! He's come home very happy and tired! She really helped me out taking Ziggy last minute when our usual sitter had a change of plan. Great sitter thank you!

Val took such good care of my little sausage dog. Ross has some struggles with separation anxiety but Val did everything to make life comfortable for him: having us visit a few days before he came to stay so he could sniff around and then inviting me in for a sit down while he got settled on the day I dropped off. I received photos and updates of him going about his happy business throughout the stay and she made sure to give him extra play and enrichment sessions when he didn't feel like going for a walk. You can tell Val really loves and understands dogs & I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Harmonogram
I am just back from a year of travelling (lost my Star Sitter status while away) and studying, so I have plenty of time to make sure your companion settles well and gets all the attention she/he needs. I am patient and caring, and prefer smaller breeds. I would look after your friend one-on-one, unless they came with a friend from the same household. I have some additional dog walking experience through BorrowMyDoggie, house/pet sitting through Trusted Housesitters, and regularly pet sit for neighbours.

I have a small-ish fenced garden at the back, and am within walking distance of the beach and various green areas. For boarding doggies, Pick up and/or Drop off may also be possible. Please mention this in your enquiry so I can confirm and quote an appropriate rate.
Typowy dzień
Mostly walks, whether local or a little further afield. Playing catch, retrieving treats in the grass if out or finding them around the house. And of course, as many cuddles as required!
