I’m retired and have a flexible schedule. Weekends and weekdays/nights are not out of the question. It brings me joy to be around animals and I enjoy their company. I take the time to spend with your pet and build a trusting relationship.

Sitting quietly or sometimes having conversations with animals brings them assurance that I am safe and can be trusted to respect them and their well being. After trust is built with them, they are often open to playing; and this builds a stronger bond. Additionally, I will follow the routines and rules that you have established for your pet(s). I’m ok with crating or not, administering medication, and spending quality time with your pet.

A typical day
Playing with and petting your pet brings me joy and entertainment, and helps me build a bond with your pet. Feeding them can be a special time as well, because I talk with them and sometimes they even enjoy being pet while they eat. Some owners allow me to take their dogs for a short ride in the car to walk a trail, swim in a lake, and on occasion play with other dogs. My vehicle is equipped with a safety pet hammock in the backseat, and if they need assistance getting in or out of my car, I always help them.

Pet care experience
I have had assorted pets in my lifetime, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, tortoises, a pot-bellied pig, fish, cockatiels, parakeets, ducks, chickens, and horses. On one occasion, we took in two orphaned baby Scrub Jays and were able to release them as adults. I have a lot of experience with animals, and they bring me joy and peace. Dogs warm up to me quickly, and I enjoy walking, feeding and playing with them, or just being in their company. I've taken several dog obedience training courses over the years and feel confident with handling most dogs. I am retired and have an open and flexible schedule. I enjoy walking and getting outdoors; walking a dog is an extra bonus that I look forward to. I have experience in handling pets and reading their behavior; I understand that they are members of our families, and I want to take good care of them while they are in my care.

Trina is a wonderful pet sitter. She was attentive and very mindful to our pets. She sent pictures and videos of our pets, and kept us up to date. She took walks with our dog and even was able to get our kitty to hang out a bit. The house was immaculate when we got home. We have already booked her second stay with the pets when we are away on our family vacation. I highly recommend Trina, for all of your pet sitting needs.
As a first time user of a dog sitting service I was nervous, but once I met Trina, any concerns or doubts that i had just disappeared!! I highly recommend Trina for all your pet sitting needs. Trina took great care of our 3 precious pups while we were away for 10 days during the holiday season. She didn’t roll her eyes when I handed her a detailed list of care instructions and notes about their little quirks. Instead, she asked additional questions to make sure she gave them all they needed & more during their stay. She walked them 3 times a day & sent photos and updates throughout our vacation, which we looked forward to receiving. She lives in a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of parks and walking trails nearby and has a stunning, clean, well-kept home. We are beyond grateful that she went “above and beyond” when one of our pups got sick and needed a trip to the vet (plus medication) while we were away. Consider yourself lucky if your fur baby is able to receive love & care from Trina. She’s kind, compassionate, professional, thorough & simply fantastic!
