When I was a child, I walked our dogs more that the rest of my family combined (a brother , sister, and parents). I had a coffee shop named after my Husky in Idaho (Cody's Cafe). To me, dogs play an extremely important role in our lives and I know how important your pet is; they are family. They also have their unique traits. My last dog was a very sweet pit bull mix that loved chasing squirrels and liked Cats. My current dog is a rescue Dane/Weimeraner Mix and is our world. He has been from Key West to the Alamo to Aspen and Taos and extremely sociable. I understand that every dog has its unique personality and I will learn as much as possible to make the experience a positive and rewarding one. Dogs need and demand attention and that reward works both ways.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets safety is prime. When I walk dogs, they are my focus. If there are other dogs on the street, I am careful and understand that dog behavior can be unpredictable although I am very good at reading dog behavior. Some dogs may be fine 90% of the time, but that is too high an unknown to risk anyone's health. I want dogs to be comfortable on their walks but aware of dangers from cat poop to food that could jeapordize the dogs health.

I can say enough positive things about Tommy! He is great with my dogs. One of my dogs can be a little difficult with men so I was a bit apprehensive. My apprehension was unfounded. Each of my dogs took to Tommy almost immediately. Tommy is punctual and reliable. He also takes my dogs on nice long walks. They come home tired and happy. I will continue to use Tommy’s services. Tommy was great with my senior dog. After one walk she was excited to see him the following day. I would definitely recommend him if you need a dog walker.
Couldn't have asked for a better person to walk my dog while I was away. I gave Tommy the wrong key and he was willing to come back to the house to walk my dog once we found another way into the place. Really went above and beyond and I genuinely appreciate the commitment.
Tommy loves and treats his dogs like they are his children! He is the best dog sitter you could ask for. When your dog is in Tommy's care you know that they are being treated like part of the family. I know that my dog will get lots of attention and always a long long walk or two. There is nobody that I would prefer to have watch my dog than Tommy!
