One human. Buncha dogs. No collars.
Pet care experience
I have worked for six different kennels around town, one animal shelter, and volunteered for a spay/neuter clinic. It’s more a question of “what kind of dog have I not experienced”? I specialize in working with groups of dogs; I thrive on movement. I have been in yards with over 100 dogs.
Reviews
After I had knee surgery I was unable to take my three dogs for a walk. My hygienist mentioned someone she knew and highly recommended him. I called Tim and he came over for a visit. The dogs instantly liked him because he was kind and caring. My old Husky is always apprehensive when she meets someone new. She warmed right up to Tim and wasn’t nervous. He would walk my Husky and Lab first and then take the Bernese Mountain Dog puppy next. The puppy wanted to eat everything she saw on the walk. Tim watched her and was very careful with her. They all came home tired and contend after their walk with him. I highly recommend Tim as he truly loves dogs and knows what he is doing. When I would tell the dogs, “Tim is coming over,” they would all get very excited and run to the front door and wait for him.
Tim has watched many of our animals over the years. He is reliable, honest and one of the biggest dog lovers I know. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants the best care for their fur babies. He has extensive knowledge and experience with dogs and it shows, he’s very patient and truly cares about what’s best for the them.
Tim has the same Loyal, Playful & Intuitive energy as a dog! Dogs LOVE him (and people do too)! Tim leads the pack with adventure and structure. They listen to him and follow him & just don’t want to miss out on anything, it’s like magic. His "Shepherd's Retreat" is so adorable, clever & clean! I seriously want to be a dog and just hang out there. We can’t talk about Tim, if he’s not around, without spelling out his name. Because when we say his name, our dog will perk up and search everywhere for him! Our dog seems to miss it when she leaves his pack, but I’d rather it be that way. I can leave her knowing she is having a fun time and in the most responsible, canine-loving hands.

Safety, trust & environment
My number one goal is safety; fun is secondary. I have seen countless fights happen for countless reasons. I believe prevention is more important than intervention. I will not use affection as a reward. My affection is free for dogs. I correct dogs. Do I correct the wrong dog or the wrong thing? All the time, and I eventually learn. If your dog is about to start a fight, or is not listening, I will absolutely put my hands on your dog. I also use a salon grade spray bottle as a squirt gun. I grab tails and scruffs. I do takedowns. I do the same thing with my dogs. You might not like me, but your dog will I promise. That being said, out of all the dog fights I’ve ever intervened in, not once did I ever feel the need to punch or attack a dog. I don’t allow collars in daycare because they pose a safety issue. Floors and walls will be cleaned daily. Turf gets foamed weekly. Poop and pee is cleaned immediately but will usually occur outside except for accidents. The harshest chemical I use is windex for the glass. For the rest of the cleaning I use Odoban.

Information Timothy C. would like to know about your pet
I am willing to give any dog a chance (within my notes limits). This is why I require daycare before boarding. I don’t care what other places have to say about your dog, every place is different; I’m only interested in what you have to say. I will make my own decision based on their time in my care. I require rabies and distemper/parvo vaccines.
A typical day
I stay moving for most of the day. I play dog movies, have bird feeders behind mirrored glass, play with the hose in the summer and snow in the winter. The dogs mostly entertain each other I’m just there to clean, keep the peace, and hand out attention.

Availability
I have converted the downstairs and back yard of my condo into a dog daycare; fully dog-proofed. Your dog(s) will be with me - and only me - all day; this is what I do.
