Hello there! I'm Tiare—a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for dogs and cats. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I have years of experience dog and cat sitting, including time with a local pet care company. While I have a bit more hands-on history with dogs—especially when it comes to basic leash manners and commands—I’ve also spent time with plenty of cats and kittens. Having grown up with dogs and worked with a variety of breeds and temperaments, I feel comfortable and confident adapting to most personalities. I’d be truly honored to care for your beloved fur baby (or babies!). Where do I start?! Tiare is a dream come true when it comes to finding someone to watch your dog!!! I’m so happy that we found her for our Flynn. Flynn has very high energy and she did such a great job with making sure to keep him busy and have fun throughout his stay. She provided us with photos and updates throughout the entire day, which we truly appreciated. I felt so comfortable leaving Flynn and I’m so happy that we found our future babysitter for any and all needs. She’s incredible!

Schedule
My schedule is always evolving, but I do have a flexible part-time job, which helps me stay available. The more notice you can give, the better—but I’ll always do my best to make it work, even on short notice!

My approach to pet care is all about tailoring the experience to your pet’s unique needs—starting with a thoughtful conversation with you, the owner. Let me start by saying: I’m always open and eager to learn how to best care for pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. That said, here are a few areas where I have hands-on experience, especially with dogs who need a little extra TLC such as the following: Administering oral medications, Supporting high- or low-energy, Caring for arthritic seniors, Earning the trust of fearful or protective pets, Handling strong dogs, Comforting anxious companions I’ve even taken dogs on approved adventures like beach days or park trips—always with your go-ahead, of course! I truly believe every pet deserves individualized care, and I’m always excited to learn new ways to show up for your fur babies.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs: Tug of war, fetch, running, belly rubs, you name it! I love to play back and forth with squeaky toys. We can take a nice stroll and have them read what my family calls the "Pee-mail" ✉️ Cats: Little chasing action. My favorite toys of choice are feather wands, springs, and hair ties. Love to get them to crouch down and finally pounce on the toy. Both: Lots of TLC ❤️
