Pet care experience
COVID-19 UPDATE: I will be wearing a mask for all interactions involving pet owners and am fully vaccinated. Growing up around pets in my family and friend's homes encouraged my desire to learn about how to care for them. As I grew to a more independent age I began to receive requests from family, friends and neighbors for pet care for their animals. My calm nature and warm demeanor is a natural element that any pet I've had the pleasure of caring for is drawn to and comforted by. Any animal lover knows that a new unfamiliar face can be scary for any pet; just like with a child; and the pet generally will require time to adjust. There is no manual to "all things pet" so I strive to observe how your pet communicates and respond accordingly.
Reviews

Bobo had a great time with Tiana and their pup Chase. We met for a meet and greet before the stay and went well. They regularly sent photos and videos of Bobo going on walks and chilling. They were also a little flexible on the pickup since my flight got delayed. Definitely recommend Tiana. Thanks for taking care of Bobo.

Tiana is a very thoughtful and sweet person! Jasmine had a great stay and can’t wait to be back!

Tiana was wonderful! Again, I had something come up last minute and they were very understanding and willing to help out. They even went the extra mile to stay with my pups for longer when they got scared by the fireworks. Will definitely be booking them again!!

Always appreciate Tiana’s good communication and availability! Many thanks from Juno and me ✨

NEW CLIENTS: No last minute requests for daycare, house sitting, or boarding for safety reasons. Any time an animal is with a new human, respecting the schedule lessens any separation anxiety that they may be experiencing. It helps with establishing trust and making them feel safe.
Information Tiana R. would like to know about your pet
I adopted a former Rover dog who can't be left alone overnight. Anyone hoping for a boarding or house sitting situation would need to be available for a meet and greet at least a few weeks ahead of time. He loves socialization, so I would be willing to bring him along on walks as well if our dogs get along. I will always request a meet and greet for new pets just to get a feel for their comfort level around me. Pets tend to have less of a shock being left alone with another human if they have established previously that the human is safe.
A typical day
It will always depend on the comfort level and preferences of the animal. If it is a pet that prefers animal socialization, we can arrange introducing my dog ahead of time for extra enrichment. I have also brought clients to pet friendly outings with friends if the owner gives prior consent.

Availability
I CAN ONLY ACCEPT CLIENTS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION My schedule is pretty open Monday-Saturday and is dictated by the public transportation available. I won't be available for last minute holiday requests due to prioritizing the new baby in my home.
