Dogs melt my heart
Pet care experience
Most of my pet knowledge came from working at a pet store for over 5 years. During that time I've also taken care of friends and families pets such as cats, birds and dogs. I also enjoy going on long hikes so if you have an active dog, I'll accept the challenge 😉 Our senior dog has passed and our house feels empty. Though we're not ready to get another dog of our own, we would love to help out with taking yours for a walk and spending some time with your fur babies ❤️

Thea has taken care of my dog and made house visits to my cat on many occasions. My dog is thrilled to see her whenever she comes to pick him up for a walk and she looks just as thrilled to see him. You can tell she truly cares about the pets she is taking care of. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to leave their furchild with someone!

I have a large fully fenced yard, doors and gates to block off certain areas of my home and security cameras around the house for surveillance. Note: Not currently offering Boarding or House Sitting services.

Please let me know a little bit about your pet's temperament and personality. Do they have any preferences (ex. a favourite toy or treat or parks/trails), allergies, what motivates them?
A typical day
For Walking, depending on the area, I love exploring new trails and going for a least 1-2 hours (time permitting of course). Short walks around the neighborhood or to a nearby park is also an option. For House Visits, depending on what your instructions are for your pet, I'm able to come by and spend some time with them, take them out for a potty break, go for a quick 30mins walk around the neighborhood, ensure they have water and food, play with them, give them some pets, etc. Service Areas: - Short walks/Day visits - Toronto (North York and East end only), Scarborough, Durham Region (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa) and sometimes Peterborough - Longer walks (2+ hours) - I'm open to driving out further to take your pup out for a walk.

Availability
I work an administrative job in a hybrid work environment. During the days that I'm working from home, I have more flexibility for multiple walks during the day. I enjoy going for long hikes or just spending time outdoors during the weekend. During the weekdays I'm usually home from work by 5pm and will be available to go on a short 30mins to an hour walk. During the weekends I'm more flexible and can accommodate longer walks or hikes if your pup is more energetic. My time is split between Durham Region (usually Mon-Wed) and Peterborough (usually Thur-Fri) Weekends are flexible between either locations.
