Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting most of my life, but in 2010 I decided to do what I love for a living! I still work full-time at a local pet store, but take care of numerous neighborhood pets before & after work. I'm also an active person who loves to walk/run so if you have a high energy dog I'm happy to help it burn some energy! Like they say "a tired dog is a good dog." I currently have 3 dogs of my own. Two Chihuahuas Zeus & Zoe and a Papillon named Zak. Zak is my running buddy! I spent plenty of time clicker training him to be non reactive so if your dog needs help in that area I can help! I also enjoy just hanging at home lounging with my pack so if that's all you need I'm happy to do that as well. Five stars is not enough. My dog Rosie didn’t come back when I called her and I texted Theresa and she came right away and walked the neighborhood on the routes that she walks my dogs looking for her and spent easily three hours out there in the heat. I found my dog she was stuck under the deck and Theresa helped me there too and unscrewed the boards and got a friend of hers to come over that lives down the block to help and we got Rosie out. I can’t express how much I appreciate her

Is your dog reactive to anything like other dogs, bicycles, motorcycles etc? It's always good to know their triggers so I'm not surprised and can handle them appropriately.
A typical day
I regularly walk dogs near Arlington Heights High School, but I'm happy to hit the Trinity Trails with them as well! Many dogs enjoy routine, so I'm also happy to walk their normal walk in their neighborhood.
