I've been taking care of, animals since I was a kid. I've taken care of them from the time they are puppies all the way to when they are Seniors. I've been there with them when they were healthy and when they have been sick or had surgery. And I'm in the process of becoming a Dog Trainer. Upon our return we found very happy puppies and a happy cat. Teresa exceed our expectations.
Teresa was absolutely amazing! We were going on vacation and got in a pinch of needing pet care for our cat so we tried out the Rover app and found Teresa so we messaged her. She promptly replied with a fast response saying she could do it which helped put us at ease before taking off! Teresa was a godsend. I adopted Lucy 3 months ago and Ethel came along a month later when someone threw her out on the road. I had a planned vacation and didn't want to board. Lucy has separation anxiety and Ethel is young. As soon as I met Teresa I knew she was the one to take care of them. She was kind, caring and knowledgeable. She gave Lucy the time and space she needed to adjust to someone else coming in and taking care of her. They were played with and loved on and made to feel like they were hers. I make their food and she had it ready for me when I got home. I was stressed about leaving them but that went away instantly when I started getting updates and pictures with every visit. And any information you feel is relevant to take the best possible care of them.
A typical day
Dogs not only need physical exercise, they also need mental stimulation. We would play games like fetch, tug, and find the treat, just to name a few. I especially love games that build and reinforce their confidence. I would take them on walks; give them plenty of love and positive reinforcement. Things like feeding and taking them out would be done on their schedule, so as not to disrupt their routine any more than it has to be.
