Hi there! I’m currently a veterinary assistant with three years of hands-on experience, and caring for animals truly brings me joy. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and have lots of fun while in my care—whether that means going for a hike, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch (if that’s okay with you!). I’m very comfortable administering medications and supporting any extra medical needs your pet may have, thanks to my background in veterinary care. In our home, we have one friendly pup who loves meeting new furry friends. I’m also a nursing student, but my classes are only a few hours a day, so I’m home most of the time and available to give your pets plenty of attention and affection. I’m happy to keep you updated with as many photos and messages as you’d like—it’s important to me that you feel completely at ease while your pets are with me. Let’s work together to create a warm, safe space where your pets can feel right at home!

I am so glad I have Teralyn near me. My RuthAnne was tail wagging excited when I dropped her off. Can’t get better review then a big ole tail wag.
RuthAnne had a great time at doggie daycare. Teralyn is warm and caring. Her dog was a hoot and played well. Looking forward to having RuthAnne visit again!
Teralyn was amazing when she watched Ace this weekend. She was extremely accommodating to his needs and we are super happy we found her. We will definitely be using them in the future!
Teralyn has always loved animals, she grew up having dogs and cats at home and now has a dog of her own. She volunteered at a vet clinic in High School and also worked at one after college, so she is very good with making animals feel comfortable in all situations.

I have class a few times a week, but very much spend a majority of my time at home, there are quite a few weeks I’m also available!

When they are at my home whether for daycare or boarding I take my dog on a 1.5-3 mile walk through our quiet town of Courtland. If weather permits I like to go to Flandrau or Fort Ridgley state park if your dog would enjoy that! I also have a backyard that I would be happy to play fetch in with your pets as well!

I love staying active with the dogs I care for—whether it’s going on peaceful walks, playing fetch, or heading out for a hike at Flandrau or Fort Ridgely State Park. If your pup enjoys adventure, we’ll explore the trails together and get plenty of fresh air and exercise. But if they prefer a slower pace, I’m more than happy to take things easy with shorter walks or cozy downtime at home. I always follow your pet’s lead to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
