Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m currently a veterinary assistant with three years of hands-on experience, and caring for animals truly brings me joy. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and have lots of fun while in my care—whether that means going for a hike, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch (if that’s okay with you!). I’m very comfortable administering medications and supporting any extra medical needs your pet may have, thanks to my background in veterinary care. In our home, we have one friendly pup who loves meeting new furry friends. I’m also a nursing student, but my classes are only a few hours a day, so I’m home most of the time and available to give your pets plenty of attention and affection. I’m happy to keep you updated with as many photos and messages as you’d like—it’s important to me that you feel completely at ease while your pets are with me. Let’s work together to create a warm, safe space where your pets can feel right at home!

Teralyn has always loved animals, she grew up having dogs and cats at home and now has a dog of her own. She volunteered at a vet clinic in High School and also worked at one after college, so she is very good with making animals feel comfortable in all situations.

When they are at my home whether for daycare or boarding I take my dog on a 1.5-3 mile walk through our quiet town of Courtland. If weather permits I like to go to Flandrau or Fort Ridgley state park if your dog would enjoy that! I also have a backyard that I would be happy to play fetch in with your pets as well!

As a Rover sitter, it’s really important to me to get to know your pet as well as possible so I can give them the best care. I’d love to know about their daily routine, favorite activities, energy level, and any quirks or things that make them feel extra comfortable. It’s also helpful to know if they have any medical needs, dietary restrictions, or things that might make them nervous—like loud noises or unfamiliar dogs. Whether they love belly rubs or prefer their own space, I’ll follow your lead to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. I want to know their personality!
A typical day
I love staying active with the dogs I care for—whether it’s going on peaceful walks, playing fetch, or heading out for a hike at Flandrau or Fort Ridgely State Park. If your pup enjoys adventure, we’ll explore the trails together and get plenty of fresh air and exercise. But if they prefer a slower pace, I’m more than happy to take things easy with shorter walks or cozy downtime at home. I always follow your pet’s lead to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
