*I’m currently taking a break from working with dogs that have special needs pertaining to anxiety around new people and territoriality. Dogs that need a little extra TLC have historically made up about half of my roster. However, I was recently attacked by a dog after years of successfully working with anxious pups and reading their cues. I want to make sure I’ve fully recovered mentally before I continue working with dogs that have those needs* From a very young age I always knew that I wanted to work with animals. Back in 2016 my journey began as a live in "cat nanny" for a flight attendant who was rarely home. Although I didn't receive actual pay, and just a rent reduction - it was the best job I'd ever landed. I joined Rover to do more of what I love - hanging out with animals and giving them safe, comfortable care while their humans are away. I’m also independently insured as a pet care provider -an additional safeguard for you, me, and your animals!

Teaghan was great with the cats! Our cats take medications and Teaghan had no trouble with that.
Teaghan was fantastic! I have two cats, including an older one with kidney disease, and she was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to his needs. She even flagged that the chicken broth I was using for hydration contained onion powder, which can be toxic to cats—something I really appreciated. Her updates were detailed and reassuring, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. She also took great care of my home and left it in perfect condition. I will definitely be booking Teaghan again!
Teaghan did a fantastic job caring for our elderly pug. She was exceptionally careful with his health and safety, while still giving him plenty of love and attention. Great communication as well!
Teaghan did a great job at stopping by to check in on my cats and providing updates/pictures while I was away! Communication was easy and efficient. I highly recommend working with Teaghan and plan to do so again for future trips!

When I'm visiting an animal's home, I always make sure to speak with their humans ahead of time about any quirks, special needs, or other things to be mindful of in regard to temperament. I maintain a calm presence and depending on the animal's personality I will either let them lead in terms of the level of interaction or take a more encouraging approach to bonding.

Availability
Pet care is a huge part of my day to day and I’d have it no other way. On weekends, I am usually able to remain on the property and typically only step out for quick errands like running to the grocery store. These days I am focused more on house sitting than I am on my M-F dog walking business, but I do still have a couple of regulars that I’ll need to step out for (not usually more than 2-3 hours).
