Pet care experience

STL Pet-fessional

In 2021 I moved back to St. Louis after graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s in Animal Science (pre-vet). Currently I am pursuing my masters in Ecology at UMSL! I have cared for my own array of pets my entire life and that has built my passion for animals and their well-being. I specialized in companion animals, so I have taken countless credit hours and work hours related to pet care. I feel confident that I can take great care of your pet(s) no matter their medical or personal needs. After graduating I was working as a veterinary technician before having my son and going back to school. After I gave birth and decided to go back to Rover full time so I could spend more time with my son and pursue higher education. As a former vet technician I have the medical and practical training to ensure the health and safety of your pet(s) even in emergency situations if those were to occur. Thank you for considering me as your sitter!

Dog Walking • Jul 20, 2025

Forgot she had to walk my dog so 2 hours late I asked for the waste bag to go in the dumpster as stated in the directions left on the chair on my front porch so a swarm of flies on my front porch because of it.

She was simply great! We have 2 fluffy huskies and one is diabetic, which means that has a VERY rigid and strict schedule and also requires injections. Taylor was on point with updates via texts and followed every single direction we have her. Absolutely amazing job! We'll be coming back to her 100%

Schedule

I am currently a grad student so I will have to leave during the day in order to attend classes. If your pet needs 24/7 supervision I cannot provide that.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Taylor can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
It is crucial to me that my client’s pets are in a happy safe environment, so to ensure that I ask that a meet and greet is scheduled if your pet(s) have issues with meeting strangers. During we can discuss the reactivity of your dog and your walking routine. If you feel comfortable going over details over phone call or text that is greatly appreciated, because I do not always have time to schedule meetings. If you feel that the information needed will take longer than 30 minutes to go over I will ask to either cut the meeting short or be compensated for my time, as all meetings will not result in booking.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
