Pet care experience
I have 12 years of experience with pet-sitting where I'm actually caring for other peoples animals but have a lifetime of experience being around dogs and cats and caring for my own. I live in Bowling Green, KY with my husband, our 3 daughters (8,5 & 5), and our dog Tank. We’re a family of animal lovers and love being able to give my kids the experience of being around animals. I have worked in dog boarding/doggy daycare facilities and absolutely loved the work I did and all the time I got to spend with our four-legged pals. I learned a lot working at doggy daycares, like how to socialize dogs, pick up on good and bad dog behaviors, keeping a schedule, being organized, and patience because every dog is different and some need a little more time to acclimate than others. If you choose me as your sitter you can be sure your pet will have lots of playtime and lots of love! Your dog will have supervised play time in our yard multiple times a day. I'm home pretty much all day so there will be around the clock supervision inside and outside. :) PLEASE NOTE: I do have small children so your pup(s) must be good with children. Also, I frequently board up to 2 dogs at a time so your pet must be friendly with other dogs, big & small. This is important so everyone can have a fun & safe boarding experience! Tavia was simply fantastic! She responded fast to my initial inquiry and was very accommodating with the drop off time with my dog. Leaving a pet for a few days can be overwhelming but she eased my mind with sending me regular updates and pictures. I also appreciated how understanding Tavia was with me picking up my dog a couple of hours later than expected due to traffic delays. Highly recommend Tavia! My dog may even have liked her more than me lol
I left my goldendoodle Jules with Tavia for a day. Tavia was so welcoming and sweet when we arrived. She sent me several pictures with messages during the day to show me what Jules was doing. I will be using Tavia again and highly recommend her.
Ginger is always excited when Tavia is taking care of her. We’re happy to see Ginger run to the front door. We know she is getting good care and lots of attention.
Tavia was great. I felt confident he had good care and she gave daily updates and photos.

I do have an unfenced yard so your pup will be leashed up to an outdoor dog lead for safe & supervised outdoor breaks. Whenever I plan to leave my home your pup will be crated in my own XL dog crate or your crate (if one is provided) to ensure your pups safety when not being supervised. Dogs are never left alone for more than 2-3 hours, if I do leave my home. I typically send 1 photo update a day, typically sent around noon, if you’d like more please let me know!

A typical day
I typically start my day at around 7am. Any pups staying with me at that time are let out right away for a morning potty break & fed breakfast. Regular potty breaks every 3-4 hours after that. Your pup is then free to do whatever they wish, snooze on the couch or play some fetch, it’s entirely up to them! Around 5pm is when I give dinner, then last potty break around 9pm & bedtime!

I’m a stay-at-home mom so I'm home all day most days and that makes it easy for me to care for others pets and give them plenty of belly rubs & playtime! I can easily change my schedule to fit the needs of our furry guest which comes in handy especially if a pet requires medications at a specific time. You can ensure your pet will have around the clock love and care!
