Your pet's new friend!
Pet care experience
I have been a cat servant (er, I have owned cats) for over 15 years and am well-versed in their unique needs. In 2020, I got my first bunny and learned all about small animal care. During the pandemic, I began helping a friend at her ranch; this gave me the opportunity to acquire a new set of animal care skills including horses, alpaca, and more. I also own and have trained my Irish Wolfhounds (dog), acquiring several AKC certifications.
Reviews

We appreciate the sitter's willingness to watch our dog Rey on short notice, but unfortunately our experience was not what we had hoped for. When we arrived, we were surprised by how many animals were in the home—two very large Irish Wolfhounds, two other guest dogs, and a cat—all in a relatively small space. With so many animals in a confined space, the environment felt overcrowded and not very hygienic. We were also concerned to learn (from a picture sent in an update) that Rey had been crated without prior discussion or consent. While we understand that managing multiple pets can be challenging, we would have appreciated clear communication and the opportunity to decide what was best for our dog. This sitter may be a better fit for dogs who are already crate-trained and very comfortable in a high-energy, multi-pet environment, but it wasn’t the right match for Rey.

Tasha was extremely nice and sent multiple daily updates and pictures!!

Tasha was great with our pup and sent us lots of check in videos. He seemed very well cared for.

Tasha did an amazing job taking care of our 3 month old puppies, she had a little area set up for them inside and in the yard. Sent us plenty of videos and they had so much fun with her dogs, very friendly and cute. Her cats loved playing with our puppies as well, will definitely ask her to babysit again in the future.

My cats have total freedom to go anywhere in the house although they mostly stay in their room. I also have baby gates installed at the bedroom doors at hallway to keep everyone in quasi-designated spaces. There is a fenced-in backyard that is fairly spacious, allowing plenty of room for a dog - big or small - to play and potty. Also in the backyard is the rabbit enclosure which, while accessible for sights and smells, cannot be breached by other four-legged companions.

Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or experiences extreme anxiety. I will do my best to accommodate them while also making their visit a positive experience.
A typical day
We are a fairly low-key household, starting our day with time in the fenced-in yard. There is room to play ball or get out some zoomies. When the temps are cooler, the neighborhood is very dog-friendly and a great place for walks.

Availability
My work days are split with half being spent at home and the other half going in to the office. When I do leave, I am gone for about 4 hours at the most. This kind of schedule allows me to still regularly be available for my four-legged clients, making sure everyone gets their potty breaks and meals on time.
