I am available Sunday - Friday and some Saturdays starting June 15! If you are looking for a Saturday to be covered please make sure to let me know the date! I am very flexible so I can take care/ walk multiple animals in one day.

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells, and explore the dog park in my neighborhood. There is a big lake with a walking path around my neighborhood as well!

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Tara and I am an elementary school teacher on summer break! I have worked and lived with animals (dogs and cats) throughout my whole life. I am looking for summer work as a dog walker or boarder. I can have one animal in my apartment and can also come pet sit at your house. I am available Sunday – Friday all day! I love playing, walking, and taking care of any animal! I have taken care of many dogs, cats, and even turtles! Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested!

Tara stayed at our house over 4 days with our two dogs and three cats while we were out of town. Our fur babies loved Tara and she took amazing care of all of them. We are so grateful to her and we will definitely use her again when we go out of town.
Tara was very kind and reliable with our pup. She followed instructions that we left and she made sure our dog was taken care of when our flight was delayed, which relieved a lot of stress from us!
Tara brings the same patience, love and care for her students in her teaching job to animals in her care. She is an exceptional stand in for any pet owner and you can enjoy your time away knowing your loved one is well cared for. I highly recommend!
I was fortunate enough to have Tara dog sit for a week for my 105 pound lab. She was amazing. Not only did I feel safe leaving my dog with her, she came to check on our turtle, our house and grabbed our mail. Tara took the pup on adventures and made sure he had adequate exercise. My pup is a giant love bug and she was great with him! She is such a dog person and has the perfect mix of setting boundaries and giving love, especially with a lab who gives you those “I’m starving” eyes!! We love Tara!!!
