From growing up with Golden Retrievers to taking solo-care of my Bernedoodle for the past 6 years, caring for dogs has always been part of my everyday. Throughout the years, I’ve welcomed pets of various breeds, ages, and needs into my home. Eager to continue providing a supportive hand to pet parents, I look forward to ensuring yours receives the best care possible. My promise: to take care of your pet like I would take care of my own.

I have a dog-friendly apartment in Marina del Rey with a sundeck, a dog run and a quiet neighborhood with nearby parks & marina pathways for daily walks. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and will be given close, loving attention throughout each day! I'm comfortable with all types of pet needs, including administering medications and basic potty and manor training for puppies. Just let me know how I can help and I will make my schedule fit your needs! I have a 30 lb mini-bernedoodle of my own who is incredibly sweet and gentle, especially with smaller dogs. She is pretty calm and good at reading the room, but is willing to do one on one play time if your dog is looking for a playmate. :)

Tara has walked and cared for my Golden Retriever, Hallie, for many years. She is extremely reliable, enthusiastic and her love for animals evident. My dog has seizures so it was very important to have someone who would dispense her meds exactly as ordered and on schedule. Tara did this consistently. I completely trust her and highly recommend!
Tara watched my dog Molly who had so much fun playing with Freya and returned happy and healthy. She had great communication and was responsible!

I am currently working remotely with a flexible schedule that allows me to provide constant care and attention to any and all of your dog's needs.

- For Boarding and Daycare only, dogs must be friendly with other dogs as I have a dog of my own. For new clients, I may request a meet and greet with my dog before the first visit and ask you to provide vaccine records (not necessary for walks or drop ins). While not required, I welcome any and all details on their personality, habits and needs that can help me ensure your pet receives the best care possible!
