I work in a dog friendly office during the week, and am at home Friday-Sunday! I usually go on hikes during the weekends, and do lots of movie nights so taking care of a fur baby fits right into my routine!

I have a dog friendly park right beside my place, so going on nice long walks or playing with sticks are always on the agenda. All my neighbors have calm dogs so it’s a very pet friendly neighborhood. I always make sure there’s ample water, a feeding schedule is instilled and i’m aware of when a potty break is needed.

No discrimination against any breeds! Big or small, I love em all. I’ve fostered a pitbull and 3 kittens, so I feel comfortable with all breeds :) I believe it’s important for me to learn about their daily routine and habits so we don’t disrupt too much of what they are used too. I know they will miss their mom/dad so having a good toy that they love around, and their favourite treats is a MUST! If they love homemade treats, being a chef-at-home I make yummy recipes such as the peanut butter banana pop to cool them down, or a healthy plain yogurt and honey spoon lick to keep that fur shiny and smooth.

I love a good walk in the dog friendly park near my place on days where it’s not too sunny and we have plenty of water at our disposal. Park? Frisbees? Match made in heaven so let’s go! I love playing fetch and even if the little guy/girl doesn’t always bring their toy back, I’ll make sure we make a game out of it!

Hello fur parents! My name is Tanya and I work at Earth Rated, which for those of you who don’t know, we sell dog poop bags! (Those dark green ones!) I work with dogs everyday and love spoiling them with all of Earth Rated’s products. I am also a spirited and enthusiastic individual who has had dogs around me all my life. I take care of fur babies as if they were my own! I have 2 active dobermans who are my entire world. A typical day would look like a visit to the dog park or go on a hike to keep these pooches in shape. On the other hand, I have my Chow Chow who lives with my parents and prefers calmer activities and lots of cuddles. So regardless of your dogs needs and habits, I tailor my activities to ensure they are happy and loved while you have some time for yourselves. I always ensure a dog feels comfortable with me before accepting me as their sitter. It’s of utmost importance and at the end of the day, they come first!

Tanya took care of our dog while my husband and I were away for 8 days in Greece. I am quite weary given my dog is difficult to take care of and he has a lot of fur, and sheds very often. I was pleasantly surprised by all the small attentions Tanya brought and will be calling her again to take care of our baby when we decide to go on another vacation. She kept the house spotless and vacuumed up all his fur and brushed him every night. I know this by all the hilarious pictures she sent me of all the fur she collected and my dog trying to sniff it. She would also cook plain chicken and beef to mix in with his kibble. You can guess my dog's a prince, right Tanya? Thanks again for instilling such confidence, I highly recommend her!
