Part of our family
Pet care experience
As a former nurse, I’ve carried my passion for caregiving into a second calling—caring for your beloved furry family members. I offer quality, loving, and enriching care at a reasonable price. While I now live in a comfortable condo with two friendly resident pets, your dog will enjoy daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. Without a yard, our time outdoors becomes intentional and enriching—with regular walks, fresh air, and one-on-one attention that keeps your dog mentally and physically engaged. Your pet becomes part of our small, loving pack and, more importantly, part of our family. Trusting someone with your dog isn’t just about the space—it’s about heart, understanding, and connection. With years of caregiving experience and a deep respect for animal behavior and needs, I strive to offer peace of mind to every pet parent who entrusts me with their companion.

Kobe had fun w his new furry friends. The big backyard is perfect for running around and getting their energy out. Tamara was flexible working w our schedule which really helps. Thx ☺️

Our dog had a great time at Tamara’s house. They have a great yard and if your dog is social, this is a great place to go!

Kona was in good hands from the 1st minute to the last minute. She came home and went right to bed. Nice to know you have a dog caregiver that loved her too. Tamara is the best!

Awesome sitter. Made Biscuit and I feel comfortable with her very friendly dog, George, during the meet and greet. Has a nice yard for dogs to play & updated with picture during stay so I knew Biscuit was safe and sound. Extremely friendly family. A+ and would use again.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for every pet in my home as if they were my own. Living in a cozy condo with two sweet, well-socialized pets of my own, I create a calm and welcoming environment where your dog will feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family. Daily walks are a big part of our routine—whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more active outing, I tailor our time outside to your dog’s needs. Inside, there’s always time for play, snuggles, and plenty of attention. I keep a close eye on behavior, body language, and comfort levels to ensure each dog feels secure and cared for. Because I only take in a small number of pets at a time, I’m able to provide personalized care, with the kind of consistency and affection that helps dogs relax and thrive. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers a quiet space to nap, I adjust to meet their unique personality. To me, this isn’t just pet sitting—it’s an extension of the nurturing work I did as a nurse. It’s about trust, companionship, and providing a loving home away from home.

A typical day
A typical day in my home is relaxed, structured, and full of love. I like to keep a calm and predictable rhythm so the dogs feel secure and at ease. We usually start our morning with a potty break and a nice walk around the neighborhood to stretch our legs, sniff around, and burn off some energy. After that, it’s breakfast time, followed by some quiet time to digest—whether that means lounging in a sunny spot, snuggling on the couch, or just relaxing. Midday, we’ll have another walk or a bit of indoor play, depending on the weather and the energy level of the dogs. I love incorporating enrichment activities like puzzle toys, snuffle mats, or basic training games to keep their minds engaged. Throughout the day, I make sure each dog gets individual attention—belly rubs, cuddles, gentle brushing if they enjoy it, or just sitting together. I keep things calm and positive, especially for dogs who may be a bit shy or nervous in a new environment. In the late afternoon or early evening, we go on another walk to get out some wiggles before dinner. Then it’s wind-down time—more snuggles, a little play if there’s still energy to spare, and plenty of comfort as they settle in for the evening. Every dog is different, so I always adjust the routine to suit their personality and needs. Whether your pet loves activity or prefers to be a quiet companion, my goal is to make them feel safe, seen, and loved every step of the way.
