Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs (and cats) my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have a little dog I inherited from my grandpa, and she means a lot to me. Over the years, I’ve looked after all kinds of dogs, including puppies and older dogs who need a little extra help. I know how important it is to have someone you trust with your pet, and I’m here to help however I can. Whether I’m stopping by your home or they’re staying with me, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, love, and any medicine or special care they need. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced in backyard and 2 kids who would love to keep them company. I treat every pet like family, and their comfort and happiness always come first.

I had a last minute work trip and needed someone I could really trust to care for my dogs. I reached out to Sydney, and she was quick to say yes and happy to help. She welcomed Lily and Meadow into her home like they were her own. She kept me updated with daily messages and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I picked them up after four days, they were happy, relaxed, and even smelled great! I could tell they’d gotten so much love and attention from Sydney and her family. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch them again, and I know my dogs would be just as excited to go back.

I’m home a lot since I homeschool my 2 kids, who are animal lovers too. If I’m coming to your home, I’ll follow your instructions closely. Whether that’s feeding, going on walks, giving meds, or anything else your pet needs. I know how important routine is, and I’ll treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

If they get nervous, don’t like certain things, or have little habits I should know about, just let me know. I’m easygoing, and the more I know, the better I can take care of them.
A typical day
I live in a neighborhood that’s great for dog walks. If you’re comfortable with it, we love taking trips to the State Hospital Park to get some exercise. We like to bring our dog along for car rides. If that’s something your dog will enjoy too, let me know. I’m always happy to adjust our activities based on what your pet likes and what you’re comfortable with.

Availability
I’m a stay at home mom with 2 kids, and we homeschool—so my schedule is flexible. Since I’m home most of the day, I can give your pet plenty of love and attention. I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening check ins. Whatever works best for you. If you ever need overnight care, your pet is welcome to stay at my house and be part of the family while you’re away.
