I’ve been a dog owner and dedicated dog caregiver for over 20 years, and caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, including large and strong breeds such as Akitas, German Shepherds, and other high-energy breeds. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, ages, energy levels, and needs, and I understand how important it is to make each dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away from their family. I also volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, helping with their puppy training program. As part of the program, I have the opportunity to welcome a future guide dog puppy into my home for several days at a time and help with their training, socialization, routines, and everyday experiences. This has given me additional experience with consistency, positive reinforcement, following specific care instructions, and helping dogs build confidence in new environments. Whether your dog needs lots of playtime and exercise, some extra cuddles, structured routines, or simply a calm and loving place to relax, I’m happy to provide individualized care based on what works best for them. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel like they’re right at home!
