I have personal experience caring for many different breeds of dogs and cats, and I have professional experience with dog training and cat and dog care. I currently volunteer at the Humane Society in my free time, and I love learning new ways to connect with and enrich animals.

I think it is important for any caretaker to know what a dog is comfortable with vs. what they are more reactive to. If a dog is a little more reactive to people, to other dogs, loud noises or cars - all of these things should be discussed in order for a caretaker/walker to give that dog the best care possible and always keep the dog feeling comfortable and safe.
A typical day
I love giving each dog the physical stimulation they need. Some dogs like to walk for miles & miles, some prefer to play with their favorite toy or have a game of fetch after their shorter walks - I enjoy doing both! I love walking at our local parks and trails, but also enjoy walking around neighborhoods and quieter, walkable streets.

I am an early riser and always available before and after my work hours. I strive to try to be as flexible as possible with my schedule so my clients can rely on me anytime they need a sitter.
