Love 'Em Like My Own Dog Care
Taking care of your dog/s is my full-time job and I take it very seriously. Because my own dogs are small, I specialize in canines who weigh less than, or close to, 25 pounds. Your dog/s is treated just like one of my own beloved pets. They sit on my furniture, eat my homemade food, take walks, lazy about my large enclosed front porch and sleep in my bedroom. My rural neighborhood is quiet and my years of experience taking care of my own dogs, as well as rescue dogs, assures you the peace of mind you and your beloved pet/s deserve. I've been a volunteer and member of Havanese Rescue for 12 years, have fostered 12 wonderful rescue dogs, and placed each in a loving forever home. For dog owners flying from Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), or Philadelphia, my house is located two minutes from the PA Turnpike, Exit 242-New Cumberland. The trip time to MDT (11.4 miles) is 15 minutes. My home is 10 minutes from downtown Harrisburg, 20 minutes from Hershey, and 40 minutes from Carlisle. My overnight rate is $59/dog. Daily pet care costs $47/dog. I will do my best to meet your pick-up and drop-off times needs. My cancellation policy requires notification equal to that of the stay. Please contact me with any questions. I am currently not accepting puppies for day or overnight care.

We couldn't be happier with Suzy as our pet sitter. She is extremely reliable, caring and makes sure our spoiled baby is well taken care of. She sends updates and pictures to put our minds at ease. I highly recommend Suzy to anyone in need of a trust worthy and dedicated caregiver for their beloved pets.
Suzy was phenomenal with my dog, Max. He is 15 years old and typically has major separation anxiety. Max’s visit was for five nights and he did great! Suzy sent updates and pictures daily which put me at ease. He was so comfortable with her that when I picked him up ….he seemed to want to stay! Would highly recommend Suzy and most definitely will be having Max stay with her again!
Suzy did a great job keeping us informed about how Brinlee was doing. Drop off and pick up went smoothly and Brinlee enjoyed her stay. I would definitely recommend Suzy to other small dog owners.

I was very anxious about leaving Jazzy for ten days while we vacationed out of the country, but after meeting Suzy and her dogs and seeing Jazzy with them, I was ready to go. Suzy sent photos each day and reports about how well Jazzy was fitting in. She followed Suzy throughout the day and slept with the other dogs on Suzy's bed! I'm very grateful to have found Suzy, a wonderful pet sitter!
