Pet care experience

Lifelong Dog Lover & Caregiver

I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have been a proud dog owner for the past 7 years. I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ dogs over the years. When I first adopted my own dog, he had some health and anxiety challenges, so I gained experience with medication, patience, and providing extra care when needed. That experience taught me how important it is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Dogs bring me so much joy, and I treat every dog in my care like they’re part of my own family.

Left my sweet pup with Suzanne for a weekend and it was the best experience! She was so sweet and took great care of my boy. Sent me tons of pics and videos since I was nervous to leave him. Took him on lots of walks/dog park trips. I felt so comfortable leaving him with her! Will definitely use her in the future! Thanks Suzanne!!!!?

Suzanne has cared for our Soft Coated Wheaton Terriers and our miniature schnauzers. She truly loves animals, especially dogs, as can be seen by her level of patience and affection she shows each dog. She adopted a rescue dog and spent over a year getting her dog, Rio, to trust her enough so she could leave him for short periods of time. Initially, she couldn't even leave the room without him being distressed. She spent the better part of two years finding a diet for his extremely sensitive GI tract so he wouldn't have diarrhea. Most people would have given up on this dog. Suzanne did not. She is dedicated, affectionate, energetic and truly loves being around dogs. What more can you ask for in a dog sitter?

I highly recommend Suzanne as a dog sitter. She is friendly, engaging, responsible, energetic, affectionate, and deeply caring. She seems to just naturally connect with dogs. I have seen her interact with many dogs, either walking them or having them stay at her house for several days, and have found her interactions with them to be comforting, nurturing, and playful. This is a person who truly loves dogs and who knows how to create a caring, safe, and friendly environment for them. Whether it is taking them for long walks in the woods or just cuddling with them, you can rest assured that your dog is in good hands.

Suzanne has one of the biggest hearts! I'd trust her with anyone's pet. Suzanne has taken care of my dogs and my friends. While watching the dogs, Suzanne will send pictures. The dogs are extremely happy, exercised, well-fed, and cared for. Suzzane is truly amazing with all animals and I'd trust her with my pets anytime.

Suzanne is the type of person that has always brought a special kind of warmth and compassion to dogs and other animals alike. Suzanne’s gentle nature and natural patience allows dogs to quickly develop trust in her. She is responsible in timely feedings and walks and is quite playful when it comes to connecting with pets. Her sweet and kind affection goes beyond her pettings and walks with her own dog, Rio. Suzanne has frequently taken care of my dog, Roxy, for many, many years. Roxy is an elderly husky that needs a lot of tender love and care and Suzanne has never fell short of giving her the balance of space and friendship. Suzanne will meet your dogs needs whether that’s a hike or a cuddle. She loves dogs and dogs love her. Your dog will be able to sniff out Suzanne’s big heart mostly because this person embodies the spirit of a dog. She adores them as much as they adore her. Suzanne is a “paw”fect fit to be your next Rover! 🐾

Is your dog friendly with other dogs, people, and children? Do they have any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or special care needs? Are there any fears, anxieties, or behavioral quirks I should know about (thunder, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, etc.)? What are their favorite activities, treats, or toys? What makes them feel comfortable? Are there any commands or routines you’d like me to follow?
