Pet's Home Away from Home
I have been doing this for four years now, & I really like it. I will treat your pet like it was my very own. I fostered a 3 month old puppy until he went to his forever home. I got him to sit & speak on command...with a treat of course. I want to help people by taking care of their pets, so they can go on a vacation without being concerned about their 4 legged family member being in a kennel or boarding shelter. This gives me a chance to interact with many different breeds and personalities. I have adopted a Chiweenie who's 17 months now. I am currently working 3 of the 5 days at home. Your pet will be able to roam around the first floor of my home, like it was their own. If you have them in a crate when you're not home, you will need to bring it. My work is flexible and I can get up and let your dog out as many times as needed. I have a standard chain link fence with an extra secure chain on the front gate. I have that because I live on a busy main street. The back gate can not open outward. If your dog has favorite toys, bed, food & treats, please bring enough for their entire stay. I will have them sleep on the first floor, if you do. Otherwise, they can come upstairs with me and sleep on their bed or on mine...wherever they are most comfortable. I have listed only 1 spot available. If you need me to sit 2 dogs or pets that live together, let me know. I won't take in 2 dogs that are not familiar with each other or that are a larger breed.

I work at home full-time 7am-4pm. I'm able to let your pet out anytime. Please let me know how they alert when they have to go out.

I have a fenced in yard & you pup can be outside playing with my 17 month old Chiweenie. I will play fetch & walk your dog.

I will take your pup on walks around my neighborhood and will avoid the busy street that I live on. I will spend time, at least every other day, going thru some simple commands for treats and maybe teach him/her a new trick. If you know of a dog park, nearby, that your pup likes, let me know.
