Pet care experience
I have a background in breeding and showing English Bull Terriers, then kept them as pampered and beloved pets recent years. Since then I've looked after dogs for friends and family, and love having a dog in the house for play and cuddles and a companion for walking. I have a big fenced back garden where your dog can play, and a cosy living room where they can be comfy on the sofa with me. The area pretty and semi rural with plenty of good walking routes, streams for splashing and grassy spaces. I've looked after young, old, small and large dogs, the size of the latter depends on their behaviour on the lead. All are treated with lots of affection and a firm confident manner. I have many repeat 'guests', both on Rover and elsewhere. I look forward to meeting you and your dog.

I was so pleased that Sue could look after our dog whilst we were away. I could tell that Sue would be perfect for our dog. She is so kind and caring and contacted us everyday to let us know how everything was going. Our dog seemed very happy when we picked her up. I would thoroughly recommend Sue and hope to use her again in the future.
Today was Frank's first visit to Sue so I think both Frank and I were a little nervous, Sue made both of us feel at ease and comfortable. Communication was brilliant, not just throught the booking process but also throughout the day, i was sent updates during the course of the day including pictures which was great to receive. Frank settled in well, Sue took extra time and moved at Frank's pace. Frank was clearly cared for very well and the afternoon of fetch wore him out. Highly recommend Sue, looking forward to our next visit, thanks Sue. 😊🐶
Harry stayed with Sue for 12 nights, we were very happy as Sue sent us daily updates and photos of Harrys adventures. Harry was very content, Sue provided him with lots of toys and balls. We have Harry booked in again with Sue later in the year. Sue is truly a dog lover and an absolute gem and gave Harry a home from home, we cannot recommend her enough.
Our cocker spaniel had a lovely time with Sue, he had a great time exploring and playing at Sue’s and enjoyed lovely walks. He came back very happy after his stay. Sue is very experienced with dog care and she sent us photos and videos of our dog throughout his stay. I would definitely recommend Sue to look after your dog. We will certainly be using her again.

A typical day
I always arrange a 'meet and greet' with owner and pet so my daily activities can reflect the dog's usual routine. I love to play - hide and seek with treats or toys, frisbees, balls and tug. There are plenty of opportunities to socialise with other dogs (or avoid if your pet is anxious) and explore trees, bushes and streams on our walks.
