Almost-vet student looking for some animal love!
Pet care experience
With a place to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Liverpool in September, I am always looking to spend as much time with animals as possible! I have experience in kennels, stables, farms and vet clinics and I am confident handling animals of all sizes and backgrounds. I currently work at Coffi Lab in Cardiff (a dog friendly cafe) where I get to interact with many beautiful dogs everyday. I also volunteer as a dog walker biweekly/monthly at the Cardiff Dogs Home. I have been volunteering for 4 weeks at an animal rescue in Croatia with 30+ cats and kittens, 3 dogs, 7 donkeys and 1 pony where I have learnt so much and developed my love for animal care.

Summer was brilliant. We’re often nervous leaving Jasper but we didn’t worry at all. Summer was very attentive, great communication and Jasper was very happy and relaxed. We came home to a very happy little dog who was rested, walked and ready to settle for the night. Thank you Summer!

I am happy to feed pets whether they need a certain special diet or any other specific needs and cuddles and play will never be a problem for me. I love doing long walks regardless and I am currently training for the Cardiff Half so if any pups need longer walks or runs I am happy to oblige.

Availability
I work a zero hour contract at a Cafe and have a varying schedule but I will always be guaranteed to be free from work after 7pm. I get to choose what shifts to pick up usually a week in advance and I am always happy to do morning drop ins if I have later shifts or evenings too! Otherwise around work I am pretty flexible.
