Licensed 5⭐️home boarder, an avid dog lover
I am an experienced home boarder of over 9 years, licensed by North Northants Council (License Number 21/00355/AWBH), and have been awarded a 5 ⭐️rating. I've been raised alongside dogs. I have an abundance of repeat customers with happy dogs. I often see the owner having to drag them away from my door because they want to see me which is a testament to my treatment of them. Always plenty of walks, lots of fuss, cuddles and playtime. DBS checked. Also experienced in house sitting, pet visits and dog walking. I have looked after many dogs over the years with behavioural and/or walking issues and I always endeavour to try to get to the root of their issues with lots of reassurance, love and common sense. If house sitting, I am happy to cater for any other pets also at the property at the time of visiting. All dogs for home boarding or doggy daycare must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate. Also, dogs staying in excess of 3 nights, will be subject to a trial night beforehand to ensure that we bond together well (usual rate fee to be paid). Please also remember that my fees include the additional cost of my licence from the Council with all relevant updating and approvals carried out, full and comprehensive public liability insurance, plus the fact that I am not caring for your dog as an additional second income, or because I’m working from home- it’s because I’m passionate about dogs and their welfare 🐾🐶💕 Bookings are already being taken for 2024, so please book early to avoid disappointment. All meet and greets are free of charge, available at a convenient time for you, even at weekends.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
All dogs are treated as part of the family. If allowed on furniture at home, then they are at mine. I endeavour to stick to the owners routine and requirements at all times but, ultimately, its the happiness and welfare of the dogs that is important to me.
Ratings and reviews
The experience was amazing, such a lovely lady. Our dogs were safe and well care. Highly recommended!!

Thank you for taking good care of our boy. He was so excited to arrive considering he hadn’t stayed since last summer.

Thank you very much Sue! Wispa has returned a very happy dog! We cannot praise enough, will definitely use again, feel very happy to leave our dog with Sue.
Picked up a very happy dog after a weekend stay

it was important to me that anyone I use is licensed as that provides me some assurances about the care and welfare standards and the competency of the carer. Booked Sue at short notice although she was still able to accommodate an introductory meeting, in her home, with the dogs and my wife & me before either party committed. The dogs, both anxious spaniels, stayed over two nights and two days. Sue provided lots of information, assurances, and she was willing to answer all our questions at the initial meeting. We had excellent communication whilst we were away with Sue contacting us both in the morning and at night to let us know how the dogs were getting on. Sue was happy to share messages/texts and answer questions. She also posted photos that showed the dogs were chilled out and content. I have no hesitation in recommending Sue & using her again for daycare or overnight stays for my dogs.

Buddy seemed to have a great time with Sue we received a few updates while away so knew he was ok and settling in. Buddy was so excited to see Sue when we dropped him off. Thank you for looking after him.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
My days are entirely devoted to your dogs. I occasionally have other dog walks for Clients, but I will include your dog, if at all possible. It is unusual for dogs to be left alone for more than an hour as my partner and sister are on hand to help.
