I am mainly a nanny to toddlers by trade, but have dabbled in pet sitting for nearly a decade now too. I even helped house train a dachshund puppy. I am hopeful to get back into the groove with some new furry friends! My husband and I recently just got 1.5years caring for our first rescue; tiny elderly Missy MooMoo. She passed of cancer after 2 months of medical care and vet visits that have armed me as a better pet parent. I grew up with a chow mix dog, many cats, guinea pigs, and a bird in my life. I've helped transport and feed a few pernickety snakes before. Have even shoveled chicken coups. Some of my close friends have a massive Cane Corso whom I've loved watching grow since his puppyhood (pictured at 15 months!) Others have Carolina dogs, Cattle dogs, "pit bulls", all the way down to Chihuahua mixes 🥰 I have experience in situations with anxious and sick animals, and try my best to hold safe space for them. I'm also a very tidy house guest. I might organize your fridge.
