Working as a writer from home gives me exceptional flexibility to accommodate your pet's needs. I set my own hours and can easily adjust my schedule around dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet care sessions. My home-based work means I'm typically available throughout the day and can provide updates and photos during longer visits. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I'm happy to work around your dog's established schedule and your family's needs.

Information Steven G. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best possible care for your dog, I'd love to know: Any medical conditions, medications, or dietary restrictions Any fears, phobias, or triggers I should be aware of Energy level and preferred exercise intensity Favorite activities, toys, and treats Any behavioral quirks or training commands they know Any specific rules or boundaries you maintain at home
A typical day
Every dog is unique, so I tailor each visit to your pet's personality and energy level! Even for short visits I try to incorporate basic training reinforcement (with your permission) - nothing intensive, just maintaining good habits like sit, stay, or other already known commands.

Pet care experience
As a lifelong dog enthusiast, I'm the proud parent of a 5-year-old Springer Spaniel and 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel, so I understand the unique energy levels and needs of active breeds. What sets me apart is my commitment to professional development in dog care. I hold a Level 3 Canine First Aid certification through iPET Network, giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in capable hands should any situation arise. As an aspiring dog trainer, I'm actively expanding my knowledge and skills in canine behavior and positive reinforcement techniques. My experience spans puppies to senior dogs, and I understand that each dog has unique personality traits, exercise needs, and comfort levels that require a personalized approach.
Reviews

Steven’s just started doing drop-in visits with my 2 lively springadors and I’m over the moon about it. Steven took time to make sure the dogs were comfortable with him before his first visit alone. He comes at midday while I’m at work and practises training commands and keeps them busy and happy for an hour to break up the day. He was very clear and thorough about all the arrangements, maintains great communication with me and most of all both dogs are at ease with him.
Steve has dog sat for our cheeky Westie Max twice now, and both times we have felt completely reassured and comfortable to leave our fur baby! Steve has two lovely, well trained dogs himself who loved playing with our Max. We got sent cute photos of Max on their sofa too- we don’t even let him do this at home so he was super happy! The second time we used Steve, Max was extremely excited to see him and couldn’t wait to go out for a walk him. One thing that really impressed us was how accommodating Steve was to all our needs- Max has very specific food requirements and Steve happily sorted this out for us. We are extremely impressed with the service and would definitely recommend. We will definitely be using Steve each time we go away.
